Langtree has completed a forward funding deal for the next phase of its Hollinwood Junction project in Oldham.
The deal unlocks a £25m construction contract with Russell WBHO and fires the starting gun on building work.
Industrial investor Indurent will fund the scheme, which is being delivered in partnership with Oldham Council.Â
Securing financial arrangements has enabled to formal appointment of Manchester-based Russell WBHO as main contractor.
The development will deliver 13 industrial units ranging from 5,000 to 42,000 square feet, providing a total of 192,000 square feet of distribution and manufacturing space, with associated parking and service yards.

Russell WBHO will start on site this month, with a construction programme envisaging practical completion in July 2026.
The site is by junction 22 of the M60 motorway, southwest of Oldham town centre, and is a key plank in the local council’s ambitions to attract new employers to the area. The completed Hollinwood Junction regeneration scheme also includes the construction of up to 150 family homes.Â
Russell WBHO pre-construction director Chris Harper said: “This contract builds on our extensive industrial portfolio and our experience in delivering high-quality industrial developments with strong sustainability credentials. We’ll be implementing materials, construction methods, and operational systems to achieve a BREEAM excellent rating.

Fletcher Rae is the architect of the scheme and B8 has been appointed agent.
