Dacorum Borough Council has awarded a contract for responsive repairs, cyclical maintenance and general build services to its incumbent supplier, Cardo.
Cardo has been supplying Dacorum Borough Council with its building maintenance needs since its acquisition of Osborne Property Services in September 2023.
Having gone out to tender, the council has chosen to stick with Cardo, with the bid price accounting for just 30% of the decision weighting.
The contract is for an initial five years with an optional five year extension. If it runs for the full 10 years, the estimated contract value, based on currently anticipated spend, is between آ£395m and آ£457m.
Dacorum Borough Council encompasses the Hertfordshire towns of Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, and Tring.
