Direct Builders Merchants (DBM) is a general merchanting business trading from three branches in Sittingbourne, Whitstable and Ashford in Kent. It had revenues of آ£4.8m in 2013.
Grafton did not disclose what it paid but said the bolt-on acquisition would improve its coverage of the merchanting market in the southeast of England.
Grafton is an Irish company that also owns Plumbase, Buildbase, Selco, among other chains and outlets.
