Irish acquisition for TICC consolidator

1 hour Phenna Group has acquired Testall, a leading provider of materials testing and geotechnical services based in Ireland.

Testall has become the 23rd company to join Phenna Group鈥檚 infrastructure division and its 21st acquisition of 2025 to date.

Phenna was established in 2019 in Nottingham by former Bureau Veritas chief executive Paul Barry to buy and build companies within the testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) sector. The group includes James Fisher Testing Services, Buildcheck, Stroma, PTS Pavement Testing Services, Celtest and JHAI Building Control.

In August 2022 it was acquired by Oakley Capital Investments,聽 which also bought CTS Group (Construction Testing Solutions) from Palatine Private Equity at the same time, and folded CTS into Phenna.

Acquisitions this year have been in Australia, USA and mainland 聽Europe.
