Construction contractors are being invited to sign up for further information and a webinar on opportunities to get involved in building Ebbsfleet Garden City in north Kent.
Ahead of the formal procurement process, an early market engagement notice will be published on 19th May 2025 for Ebbsfleet Central Phase 1 infrastructure works. This will be followed by a webinar on 3rd June.
Phase 1 infrastructure works include structures, highways, utilities and landscaping works. The contract may be awarded as separate lots or as combined contracts, allowing contractors the flexibility to apply for all or individual Lots.
Ebbsfleet Central will be the commercial centre for Ebbsfleet Garden City. It will be built on what is currently car parking for Ebbsfleet International railway station.
According to development corporation plans, it will comprise mixed use residential and commercial opportunities spanning up to 485,000 sqm. Ebbsfleet Central East, within which Phase One sits, comprises approximately 2,100 homes, up to 100,000 sqm of office floorspace, and up to 10,000 sqm of retail floor space to include supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and cafأ©s.
