The four-year framework covers the three main areas of a social landlord鈥檚 remit 鈥� investment works, responsive repair & maintenance and specialist services (such as scaffolding, flooring, glazing and fencing).
There are 18 national companies that have secured places on the framework include Mears, Keepmoat, Mitie and Wates Living Space, and 45 companies in total.
NE Procurement chief executive Rod Brasington said: 鈥淲e spent a lot of time working with our partners when creating the framework to ensure it created innovative procurement options, whilst still being straightforward to implement and use.
鈥淭he framework tender process was thorough and has resulted in quality contractors, who all have a track record for high-quality delivery, securing places on the framework.
