The CZK2.7bn (آ£71m) contract with the Road & Motorway Directorate involves the construction of a new section of the D1 between Lipnأk nad Becvou and Prerov.
The project includes construction of 24 bridges, three interchanges and more than 7km آ of sound barriers and retaining walls along the 14km length of motorway.
Construction work will start soon and is due to be completed in 2019.
