The client is the Swedish transport administration, Trafikverket, and the contract is worth SEK453m (آ£45m).
The E6 is a key link between the أ–resund, Gothenburg and Oslo regions. The section that Skanska will complete is 7.5km long and runs between Pأ¥len and Tanumshede on the Swedish west coast.
Construction work will start immediately, and the road will open for traffic in the summer 2015.
