Meydan One Mall is a focal point of a larger by the Meydan Group. The mall will feature an 11,200m2 hypermarket and about 620 shops including flagship department and luxury stores. There will be a retractable roof, with the design allowing for natural sunlight to come in as well as offering a natural breeze in the winter months.
The mall will also have what is said to be the largest â€کdancing’ water fountain in the world, measuring 400m in width and 100m in height. Within the mall, there will also be a 25,000m2 multi-purpose sports facility that will include tennis courts, basketball courts, a driving range, and a 1km ski and snowboard slope.
The first phase is targeted for completion in 2020.
