Commercial Buildings

Caledonian Modular has a wealth of experience in providing high quality buildings within a short lead time for commercial applications, especially open plan and individual offices, as well as hospitality suites and specialist buildings for airports and railways.

Our impressive commercial portfolio reflects the way that we have pushed the boundaries of modern offsite construction methods to offer a wide variety of finishes and aesthetic treatments. Bespoke visual elements, such as feature glazing and cladding, are combined with full building services, including integrated renewable energy systems, in the move towards A-rated offices, which is important for many of todayâ€™s commercial tenants.

Custodial Buildings

Caledonian Modular offers turnkey building solutions for custodial applications, from Rapid Built Residential Units (RBRU) and ancillary buildings to â€˜safer cellâ€™ fit-outs. Utilising modular, panelised, and elements of traditional construction as required our building systems can be adapted to extend existing accommodation or to provide completely new facilities. Buildings can be completed within a short lead time and with minimal disruption on site â€“ a major advantage for construction projects in an operational prison, for example. Our expertise in this demanding sector is exemplified by the completion of over 100 projects within various custodial establishments during the past few years.

Education Buildings

Hotels

Caledonian Modularâ€™s modular construction approach has been proven with developers, operators and mainstream brands in the 2, 3 and 4 star hotel construction sector. Our experienced design teams have the ability to integrate the most advanced methods of offsite construction with traditional forms to provide rapid build programmes for new hotels and extension projects. Caledonian Modular has built a wide variety of hotels and works closely with developers and hotel operators to ensure brand standards are adhered to.

Military Buildings

Caledonian Modular offers offsite modular solutions for all levels of military building projects, including meeting stringent counter terrorism measures. Our design teams are fully conversant with all MoD standards and are able to develop fully compliant building designs to meet usersâ€™ needs within any specific regime or military establishment. Caledonian Modular is able to operate as principal contractor or â€˜building onlyâ€™ sub-contractor as required. To date, we have provided 11,000 accommodation units, together with a variety of offices and ancillary buildings, for MoD sites across the UK.
