Heat Trace Limited (HTL) is an innovative British manufacturer of electric heat tracing cables and associated equipment and are considered to be the technological leader in heat tracing systems. With two UK manufacturing plants and with representation in over 50 countries, HTL can provide a comprehensive range of self-regulating and constant power output heating cables. These products are used extensively in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industries both onshore and offshore, in the processing industry, the power generation industry (conventional & nuclear), water & waste treatment industry, construction and transportation industries.

HTL completed the world’s first subsea, electrically heat traced, reeled pipe-in-pipe system, in partnership with Technip UK for TOTAL E&P. HTL products are also used to heat the helidecks, such as on the Stena DrillMax Ice – the world’s first Polar Class, Deepsea Drillship.

HTL also specialise in very long pipeline heating systems for offshore / inshore subsea pipelines and for onshore cross-country pipelines, either buried, or above ground. The product range includes heaters with the highest power outputs and maximum withstand temperatures available anywhere.

In 2014, HTL celebrated 40 years in the heat tracing industry and also won the 2014 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, for the continuing development of innovative heat tracing solutions.
