Site Manager Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established company who're looking to strengthen their construction team.
- You will be a key part of the construction team and will manage the day to day activities of the sub-contractors alongside maintaining a high level of health and safety which is paramount.
- Ensure Drywall safe systems of work are implemented and followed against business KPI's.
- Effectively use a digital platform to support the companies safe systems and business standards.
- Regularly engage with clients.
- Work closely with the commercial team to ensure project budgets are followed.
- Manage project programmes whilst identifying any potential or realised delays, agree appropriate mitigation and recovery measures with the project manager.
- Recognise and encourage excellent performance wherever possible.
- Set an example for all staff in matters or performance and enthusiasm.
- Ensure a high level of health and safety is upheld wherever possible.
- Ensure monthly standards are achieved.
- Have a sense of urgency for delivery and client satisfaction.
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
The Role
- To support the delivery of projects focusing on health, safety, quality, cost and time.
- Implement and successfully deliver safe systems of work and quality management systems in compliance within the Businesses Management System.
- Strong team leadership of the workforce, focusing on client's needs, planning, organisation and project goals.
- Accountability for delivery which will be measured against business goals.
Qualifications / Skills:
- CSCS card - Level 4 NVQ as a minimum
- SMSTS
- First Aid - min 1-day
- Must be willing to travel where required
- Have the ability to engage with clients.
- Have knowledge of the Drywall market
- Organised individual
