Working with a key environmental consultancy client, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Consultant Landscape Architect to work alongside experienced landscape architects and contribute to the delivery of a variety of landscape design and planning projects.
You will provide specialist consultancy support for landscape design, landscape management and landscape planning. You will operate nationally, producing high quality landscape and visual assessment and landscape design outputs for a number of sectors including Waste, Minerals, Land and Property Development, Infrastructure Development, Energy and Utilities and Insurance Companies and will provide services including landscape planning and design, environmental co-ordination, landscape master planning, visualisation and interpretation procedures.
Your role would include reporting on a day-to-day basis to senior and/or associate landscape architects, working with other members of the landscape team as well as with other environmental specialists within the company. We have the flexibility to take on anyone from 12 months experience upwards.
You will;
• Have a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or equivalent professional experience with a post graduate qualification in Landscape or related discipline.
• Experience of independently managing landscape projects and client management and advantage
• Eligibility to work and reside in the UK.
• Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
Your brief will include;
• Project support and design from initial sketch plans through to production of masterplans, detailed technical construction packages, detailed planting schemes, construction detailing and management and maintenance plans.
• Production of graphics and presentation material for senior members and other consultancy teams on projects.
• You will assist in the landscape design, planning and management, preparation of landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) documents.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, and Sketch Up
• You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
• You will need to combine the ability to develop big ideas with exceptional creative and technical execution.
• Be enthusiastic about your profession and be proactive about learning new skills.
