Job Description
Role: Asset & Infrastructure Manager Salary: £56,000 - £60,800 + Yearly Bonus Location: York - Thursday to Sunday - On-site - (We are looking for candidates that are close to York). An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asset & Infrastructure Manager to join our team. Based at our Head Office in York, you'll be part of an established and welcoming team, playing a key role in ensuring our facilities and assets effectively support our manufacturing operations. This newly created role will support the management of site facilities and physical assets, helping to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and strong asset performance. With responsibilities split between Facilities Management and Asset Management, it contributes to both daily operations and strategic planning aligned with the company's objectives. Working alongside our maintenance team and a wide range of contractors, you'll deliver effective asset and facilities management across the site, with a strong focus on compliance. To succeed, you'll need strong leadership skills and a solid background in asset and facilities management, ideally within manufacturing or a similar industrial environment. Key Responsibilities:- Support site maintenance and facilities services, ensuring safety, cost, programme, and quality targets are met
- Manage day-to-day operations including maintenance, repairs, and site upgrades
- Establish a consistent weekend site management presence
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring, safety, quality, and compliance
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Support delivery of capital and revenue projects to maintain, modernise and improve infrastructure
- Maintain compliance with statutory, safety, environmental, and building regulations
- Manage asset records, inspections, audits, and remedial actions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sharing KPIs and addressing concerns
- Asset and Infrastructure Manager or Technical Facilities & Asset Manager
- Degree or HNC in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field
- Proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations
- IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualifications
- Experience managing compliance records and audits
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Contractor and vendor management experience
- Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
